So right now, I'm sitting in my room, watching Pride & Prejudice (The Keira Knightley version, because I do not care for Colin Firth). Lately, I have been busy planning a HUGE event for my college campus. It is to celebrate the graduating seniors, although anyone can attend. This event is the reason I have not blogged in awhile, FYI.
That has nothing to do with anything I'm about to write, but I figured I would set the scene.
I am actually going to blog about super hero movies right now.
Over the weekend, I got into my super hero mood and watched all of the Marvel films (Captain America, Iron Man 1/2, Thor, The Hulk, The Incredible Hulk, and of course The Avengers). So clearly, I got no work done. In case you were wondering: my favorite Avenger is Thor, but my favorite film is a tie between Captain America and Iron Man 1.
I have a bone to pick with the whole Hulk thing. WHY ON EARTH DO THEY KEEP CHANGING ACTORS??? There is a different Bruce Banner for all three: The Hulk (2003), The Incredible Hulk (2008), and The Avengers (2012). Just pick an actor and stick with him!!! My personal pick would definitely have to be Mark Ruffalo. That is seriously one of my pet peeves. If you know it will be a series (of some sort), then stick with the same actors (*Ahem, Halloweentown*).
But can we all just take a moment and admire the gorgeous that is contained between these two men:
You're welcome.
And I'm pretty sure we can all agree that Captain America is the perfect gentleman. And Thor's accent, and his eloquent speaking abilities... I get chills everytime I hear him say "Imagined slights" or "In my youth I courted war." Oh man...
Anyway. I am a BIT irritated that The Avengers 2 is not going to be released until 2015. But at least we have Iron Man 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Thor: The Dark World to keep us occupied.
